One of my favorite places to get items not available anywhere else. Huge bento boxes. Great selection of snacks. Very clean. Friendly staff. Large parking lot - free to park.
Seiwa Market holds a special place in my heart. I love coming here for their prepackaged meals, fresh sushi, and groceries... especially if I’m trying to cook Japanese food at home. It’s a small and cute little market but it honestly has everything you need for cooking Japanese food at home. Good selection of fresh sashimi, meats, and fish for cooking. They sell good quality produce as well. Lots of unique Japanese snacks and sweets too if you’re into that. I am a fan of the packaged bento boxes and other ready to eat meals such as their hamburger steaks, curry, and sushi rolls. Be sure to come early in the day if you’re trying to grab lunch here as they do tend to sell out pretty quickly!
Oh how I love Seiwa Matket! I can grab my favorite Japanese snacks, fruits & vegetables as well as the spices that I use to cook with. They also sell milk bread, rice balls & Japanese doughnuts. My favorite item to buy is milk coffee just like the ones I used to buy from the vending machines in Tokyo.
Various Japanese food, snack sauce noodles, etc. were available, and there were other Asian products as well as Japanese products. The items were displayed in plain sight. Although the store is not big, I recommend visiting this mart if you are thinking of buying Japanese products.
Freaking amazing! They have a variety of Japanese vegetables, meats, noodles, drinks, treats, etc. everything looked tantalizing! This was actually the best place I ate at whilst in Texas. The food counter is to die for!! I bought the freshest mackerel I’ve ever eaten stateside!! If I lived closer, I’d definitely be a weekly patron.
Seiwa market is the place to go if you want fresh sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and bento boxes. This Japanese supermarket provides a variety of options from drinks to sake, from salmon to wagu beef. Their shabu beef is very flavorful. It's one of my most favorite products here. However, the prices surely go up quite a bit in the past few years. The environment here is very clean, and everything is high quality. Recommend to people who love Japanese stuff.
Love this little slice of Asian in Houston. The fresh made foods for lunch are inexpensive, but really well made. Worth a trip to visit and nosh your way through Asia!!!
Seiwa is a terrific market to get Japanese products. The store is clean and well organized. The store has hot and cold (sushi) food items, and there are tables and chairs where you can enjoy the food.
